I often think that I could do a better job picking out the secrets. Sorry Frank

Double, double, toil and trouble; fire, burn; and caldron, bubble.

Check out the "orbs" in this picture!

So tonight Tasha, John and I went on a Haunted bus tour that the Rockford Public Library hosts in the month of October. The very first stop in front of the court house downtown. Our "Spiritual Guide" Mark shared with us that there was a very angry man who hung around that area and then turned to the building across the street and told us there was an old lady looking out the window at us. Five flights up and 4 windows over. Someone asked what she looked like and he said she looked like she was dressed in 70's clothing. then he said the building next to that had a man that was cleaning the building, like he came into work one day and didn't know he pasted so he just continued to do his job.

The next stop was at Cedar Bluff Cemetery. (which if you click on the link will lead you to my grandpa's burial record.) So Tasha tells Mark that our Grandpa was buried there and he say's "Oh yea, he's standing right behind you. He died of cardiovascular disease (heart attack?) he lost a lot of weight and he's laughing that your here." Well our grandpa did have cancer but maybe in the end it was heart failure that killed him.. Have to double check with Grandma.

We visited a few graves and at one Kathi our tour guide tells me that Carrie lived in the house off Rural behind Hilander. So of course I piped up and shared my story of Mackenzie seeing a little girl ghost a few months ago in that same yard. Oh my heart was pounding after sharing that story with everyone.

Anyway lots of good ghost stories and got to meet some interesting people. One guy Bill he brought along his cameras and recording equipment and he shared a creepy story about Tinker Swiss cottage that happened to him last week. He had two pennies throw at him as he ran out of there and said that he did go back in but was never alone the rest of the night.

Another guy Al he lived in some haunted old farm house out by Lena, Il. He said he had 9 spirits living there, some of them being animal spirits and one named Sarah who had told him she was his soul-mate.

It was really neat to hear stories and share stories tonight with everyone. I even talked to Kathi about Rachael's old house and she wants me to email her the address so she can have a lady who works at the library do some research on the house.

This last photo is of a fresh grave.

There are three good reasons to be a teacher - June, July, and August.

Yesterday was Tristen's parent/teacher conference. It was the first time I had met his teacher so I really didn't know what to expect. She turned out to be a jolly, older woman, who by the way loved to hear herself talk.

The first 5 minutes was spent talking about Tristen and the next 15 was all about her... Her trips, the house she bought, the wild life living in her back yard, and don't forget her daughter meeting the mayor in 1980 only to ask him to put up a stop sign on their corner...

Gosh I was going crossed eyed and getting rather upset. I mean I was there to hear about my son's progress ya know. Oh well I'm sure she was just happy to get some adult conversion.

Today I had the day off. It started out kinda rough. Someone got a hold of Jason's visa card number and charged $140. Same day the house payment was due and not to mention Com ed was calling for their piece of the pie or lights out.
So I did some running around, Stopped and visited David and Grandma at the shop. Grandma and Grandpa finally got rid of their dead beat renters and now Grandpa has a dumpster coming tomorrow so they can clear everything out.

After that I had a few things to return to Wal-marts.. Then off to the library. Picked up 5 books and now all I want to do is read. Stopped in Old Navy and bough 3 shirts for $6.12. Man that was a deal!
Later it was lunch with Tasha and then babysitting Owen at my house. Kids came home from school and my Mom and Tony picked up Mackenzie for a sleep over.

Owen and I took a nap and Tristen played xbox downstairs. John picked up Owen around 4:30. Owen has made a total turn around for when John or Tasha comes to get him. He used to cry right away for them but now it's like " hey it just you" Well It makes me feel good anywho.

Fire by Anais Nin

I abandon him, I do not care about his human fate nor about his loneliness. I am for him just woman and whore; I take his passion without returning it, out of gratitude for his great love.

Oh man Kenzie just keeps talking and talking and I think I'm going to lose it. I totally need a break from her. Now I can see have kids can "drive you to drink"
Today is Tristen's birthday party at Skateland. I think he is going to have a lot of friends show up which is good but will only add to the madness.
My Dad stopped by this morning and dropped of Tristen's gift. He got him Little big planet for the playstation. He loves that game (playing it right now) and my Dad stayed a visited for a while too.
All I know is once the party is over I'm renting some movies and veggin out.
My Friday's at work are really starting to get to me also. It my biggest day of the week and I have one account that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I worked 11 hours yesterday and I don't see it ever getting smaller. I just can't take it anymore. At least I have next Friday off. Recharge my batteries or something.

The thing that stopped me from killing myself was that I'd never be able to write love stories again.

Later on, I found other reasons.
